Impact Washington Launches New Visual Identity to Strengthen and Focus Company Position

Thursday, August 22, 2019 | News Release

Big news! Today, we’re releasing an updated brand identity, which includes a new logo, colors, and fonts. You’ll see the new look anywhere we’re out like events, our website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

We believe the new look better reflects our mission – to be the leading provider of value-driven solutions for manufacturers in Washington State.

In 2010 we changed our name from Washington Manufacturing Services to Impact Washington. While the name still serves us and our community the current logo was difficult to read, the start button confusing, it felt a bit thin, and the lighter green friendly but too soft for our bold personality. Needless to say, it was time for a change.

Our design goal was to better match our brand personality and the Washington based community we serve. A small team worked to find something that appeared bolder, approachable, smart and was a quick read.

Compared with the lighter green, the darker green reflects our sage personality, where we come from and who we serve.

We hope you like this new look and feel for Impact Washington! Be on the lookout for more updates—like updated collateral and a brand-new website—as we continue to focus and better serve the manufactures in Washington State.

The brand update was done in partnership with Lab59 a woman-owned, boutique design agency based in Kirkland, Washington. Lab59.com
