Rob McDaniel

Dr. Robert McDaniel is the Director of the Community & Economic Development Unit, Washington State University Extension.  Rob has 27 years of experience in rural/economic development and Extension administration.  He has worked extensively with rural Washington communities on public participation in decision-making, strategic planning, collaborative problem solving, non-profit development and local government education.  He provided leadership for the establishment of the WSU Extension Energy Program and he has previously served as the Director for The William D. Ruckelshaus Center and WSU’s Associate Dean for University Partnerships. He was a founding member of the University Network for Collaborative Governance (UNCG). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Impact Washington, formerly Washington Manufacturing Services (WMS).
