Principals of Lean Manufacturing with Live Simulation/Lean & Green 101 is an in-person workshop with live simulation that delivers an entry-level introduction into lean practices and environmental sustainability.

Offered at No Cost to the company, funded by the America Works Grant. Maximum participation is two individuals per company. 

Qualifications:

• Workshop participants must be a manufacturer in Washington State. 
• All manufacturers welcome however we are specifically looking to support minority-owned, women-owned, BIPOC-owned, LBGTQ+owned or those manufacturers that reside in a rural part of the state.

This workshop is ideal for company leadership, supervisors, and key line personnel.

• May 24th | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Clover Park Technical College, Tacoma
• May 25th | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - the Liink Project, Seattle

Monthly Cybersecurity Forums

This program is supported by Impact Impact in partnership with Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition (PNDC).  There is no fee to attend.

The content in the forum is for management and technical staff members working toward cybersecurity compliance with the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and security of your data in general.

Forums are open to all manufacturers not just those seeking CMMC compliance.

Mission Acceleration Center Pacific Northwest | Brown Bag Innovation Lunches

Select innovators are invited to meet at the MAC for a small group lunch with Navy Tech Bridge and National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) staff. Discussion help innovators identify and capitalize on opportunities to supply defense and security customers during this informal meeting.

2022 Women In Aerospace Conference 

Impact Washington is proud to sponsor the 9th annual Women in Aerospace Conference - Beyond All Limits. 

At PNAA's annual Conference we will explore together how we can go Beyond All Limits in today’s world. There are many women in the aerospace industry pushing the limits and paving the way for more women to accomplish their goals and dreams. At the conference, we will discuss how to manage the new work culture, the disruption of aerospace and industry work tied to the northwest and get a deeper understanding of career perspectives.

The day will include dynamic speakers, engagement activities, professional development, an attendee driven hack-a-thon, award ceremony, opportunity for professional headshots, a social hour and lots of time for networking.

Impact Washington Is Excited To Join Seattle Good Business Network And Zero Waste Washington For A Waste Prevention & Circular Economy Innovation Summit. 

Join us and other Circular Economy community members to learn about exciting innovations advancing Washington’s circular economy. The event will highlight presentations from practitioners and innovators, panel discussions with public sector leaders on circular economy initiatives at a state level, and featured pitches from the top finalists in the PreCycle Innovation Challenge. Winning pitches will be announced and awarded cash prizes.
