This WSDA sponsored class fulfills FDA requirements for FSMA Preventive Control Qualified Individual Training (PCQI) for Animal Food
When: August 13-14th, 2024 (8:00am-6:00pm both days)
Animal Food Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals (PCQI) Training: Course fee includes participant FSPCA certificate fee, light breakfasts, breaks, refreshments, lunch, participant guide and workbooks. Learn how to write and update an animal food safety plan. This is the standardized curriculum recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration for training individuals to be qualified to oversee the safe manufacture of animal food (PCQI). The course is a prerequisite for inspectors conducting FDA CGMP inspections. Upon completion participants will receive a certificate from the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance signed by AAFCO. Participants must be present the entire time to receive a certificate.
Our 2-Day course lead instructor trained with the FSPCA and holds the FSPCA “Certificate of Training” as Lead Instructor for the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food course, Craig H. Doan (Cert # e9c754a4) is the Chief Food Scientist with Impact Washington.

What is Included?
The workshop fee covers all course materials including an FSCPA Participant Manual, a registered Certificate of Training issued by AAFCO (proof that the participant was trained under an FDA recognized curriculum). The workshop registration fee includes the manual, the certificate of training generated by AAFCO, light breakfast each day, lunch, snacks, coffee, and soda.

What is the Registration Cost? The workshop registration fee is no-cost (Limited to 24)
The No-Cost workshop registration fee is subsidized by WSDA and an Impact Washington Manufacturing Growth Grant.
