Roger brings 11 years of direct experience of business and community engagement with manufacturers across Washington State.
As a retired USAF veteran, a small business owner, and a large franchise partner of over 25 years, Roger's unique background allows him to easily communicate and connect with individuals across diverse social and economic settings. He has used this experience to help hundreds of under-served and under-represented community members gain employment, starting their advanced manufacturing careers on the path to a sustainable future.
Roger has held leadership roles within the Machinist Institute Team and Aerospace Joint Apprentice Committee (AJAC). He supported some of Washington's most prominent manufacturers to remain competitive in national and global markets.
He is known among industry partners and state agencies for his open collaboration and mentorship ensuring the state excels in solving its workforce challenges. Through pre-employment, apprenticeship, continuing education, and connecting companies with the high-demand workforce, his efforts have led to registering over 1,000 apprentices into manufacturing careers within our state.
He looks forward to continuing this great work in the Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing industries and helping the manufactures in King County.
