Manufacturing Day 2022 - Events In Washington State

Held annually on the first Friday in October with events that continue throughout the month, MFG Day—Manufacturing Day—helps show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging thousands of companies and educational institutions around the nation to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders.

Manufacturing powers Washington’s economy, employing 265,000 people, or about 8% of the statewide workforce. These are high-paying jobs, with an average compensation of $95,777 a year, one-sixth higher than the statewide average. We are on a mission to support doubling the Manufacturing sector by 2031. There are 8,089 manufacturing establishments in Washington, with jobs in every corner of the state that pay a total of $24.8 billion in wages each year.

We are on a mission to support doubling the Manufacturing sector by 2031.
