New members will enhance the board's focus on the needs of manufacturers around the state.
Bothell, WA (May 24, 2023) - Impact Washington, an affiliate of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Manufacturing Extension Program (NIST MEP), announces three new board members who will each help support the nonprofit's work to support manufacturing growth and prosperity in every corner of the state.
"We're excited to expand our board with three new members who bring diverse expertise and insight to manufacturing," says President and Center Director Deloit R. Wolfe Jr. “We have worked diligently to ensure Impact Washington's board and leadership represents a variety of experts from manufacturing, higher education, state leadership, and advocacy groups, and the newest board members are no exception."
The new board members began their three-year term on Impact Washington's Board of Directors effective April 27, 2023, and can serve a maximum of two terms. The three new board members are:
- Scott Reader, General Manager/Owner, Rainier Woodworking Company
- Tommy Gantz, Director of Business Development, TLG Aerospace
- Wendy Flick, Chief Compliance Officer, Heritage Distilling Co
